Prostate Cancer

Fellowship-trained oncologic care, personalized to you.

A rising PSA or a prostate cancer diagnosis is stressful — but many prostate cancers are highly treatable, and not every one needs immediate treatment. Dr. Reddy is fellowship-trained in urologic oncology at UC San Diego and will walk you through the options at a pace that works for you.

For: Men with an elevated PSA, family history, or a new diagnosis.

When to see a urologist

  • PSA that's rising or above your age-appropriate range
  • Family history of prostate, breast, or ovarian cancer
  • Abnormal prostate exam or MRI findings
  • You want a calm second opinion on a recent diagnosis

How we'll evaluate it

  • PSA trend review and risk stratification
  • Prostate MRI and targeted biopsy when appropriate
  • Genomic testing to help distinguish low- from higher-risk cancers

Treatment options we offer

Active surveillance

For carefully selected low-risk cancers — thoughtful monitoring so you avoid unnecessary treatment.

Da Vinci robotic prostatectomy

Minimally invasive surgery with attention to continence and sexual function preservation.

SpaceOAR™ Hydrogel

Placed before radiation therapy to protect the rectum and help minimize urinary, bowel, and sexual side effects.

Coordinated radiation & systemic care

We work closely with radiation oncologists and medical oncologists so your plan feels like one team.

You will not be pushed toward the biggest treatment. We start with the data, your values, and your goals — and build a plan you understand.
